At Ca l’Antiga we like to be influenced by the surrounding nature. In between winter and spring, we have designed the exhibitions and events that will take place from March to May.
First of all, we focus in the darkness, probably motivated by the grey sky, the short daylight, the rain, etc. But especially we have been interested in the light versus darkness, probably because this winter occurred some outstanding Moons by their size and extraordinary lightness.
To illustrate this aspect, Ca l’Antiga has invited Manuel Serra to present Al·lunicina a project that he began photographing the full moon in the sea and that revealed a passion for the identity of the moon as a focus of light.
Secondly, we have turned to the colour; the outbreak of spring encourages the mixing of colours and fragrances. This year too we will celebrate the II Maridatge dels sentits: perfum, flors i gastronomia, the spring feast of Teià, and we are pleased to participate with the Sensorial Installation: Elogi de la Voluptuositat, created by Alejandra Rubies.

EXHIBITION & SENSORIAL INSTALLATION
Photography exhibition “Al·lunicina”
The Moon is the bright pointer that allows Manuel Serra to draw in the blind area relying on the security of the light of the Moon and in his control to move the camera like a Paintbrush. The Moon, which does not have its own light because as the Earth receives it from the Sun, is the origin of an unexpected pictorial universe in what has become the subject, and not the object, performing a work of metaphysical geometry written by Manuel Serra masterfully joining fascination and method. À vous de rêver!

Sensitive installation “Elogi de la Voluptuositat”
On the occasion of the second edition of the “Maridatge dels Sentits : perfum, flors i gastronomia”, Ca l’Antiga has invited Alejandra Rubies who has created a sensitive installation, “Elogi de la Voluptuositat”, consisting in pieces of silk hand painted. Silk lanes are aromatized with essences created by perfume maker Irene Gisbert. Silk and perfume lightness is powered by colour to transform the exhibition space in an experience, both visual and sensitive, strongly emotional. The painted pieces of silk are displayed independently but sharing the space in such a way to create an exocentric movement produced by the special materiality of the silk and thus proposing to visitors a unique and free path.
